Puiseux-en-France is a French municipality with 3523 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France ; it belongs to the arrondissement of Sarcelles and the canton of Fosses . The inhabitants are called Puiséen (ne) s .
geography
Puiseux-en-France is located in the Plaine de France about 30 km north-northeast of Paris . Puiseux-en-France is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marly-la-Ville in the north and north-east, Louvres in the south and south-east, Fontenay-en-Parisis in the south-west, Châtenay-en-France in the west and Bellefontaine in the north-west.
history
The lords of Puiseux were Knights Templar. In 1318 the Templars' estate became a house of the Order of St. John.
