The Communauté d'agglomération Roissy Pays de France is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Val-d'Oise and Seine-et-Marne of the Region Ile-de-France . It was founded on November 9, 2015 and comprises 42 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Roissy-en-France . The specialty lies in the cross-departmental structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The association of municipalities was created with effect from January 1, 2016 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté d'agglomération Roissy Porte de France and Communauté d'agglomération Val de France . In addition, 17 communities from the Seine-et-Marne département joined them, which were previously organized in the Communauté de communes Plaines et Monts de France .
