The Communauté de communes du Pays de Montereau is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France . It was founded on April 23, 1974 and comprises 21 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Montereau-Fault-Yonne .

Historical development

The association last operating under the name Communauté de communes des Deux Fleuves took over seven municipalities of the dissolved Communauté de communes du Bocage Gâtinais with effect from January 1, 2017 and at the same time changed its name to the current name.
