Location of the association of municipalities in the Île-de-France region

The Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Germain Boucles de Seine (CASGBS) is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the departments of Yvelines and Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France . The community association was founded with effect from January 1, 2016 and comprises 20 communities. The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Germain-en-Laye . The specialty lies in the cross-departmental structure of the municipalities.

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2016 from the merger of the predecessor organizations

• Communauté d'agglomération de la Boucle de la Seine,
• Communauté d'agglomération Saint-Germain Seine et Forêts and
• Communauté de communes Maisons-Mesnil

as well as entry of the municipality of Bezons , which had previously belonged to the Communauté d'agglomération Argenteuil-Bezons .
