The Communauté d'agglomération Plaine Vallée is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté d'agglomération in the department of Val-d'Oise in the region of Ile-de-France . It was founded on November 25, 2015 and comprises 18 parishes. The administrative headquarters are in Montmorency .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2016 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté d'agglomération de la Vallée de Montmorency and Communauté de communes de l'Ouest de la Plaine de France . In addition, the two communities Montlignon and Saint-Prix from the Communauté d'agglomération Val et Forêt joined, which was also dissolved at the same time.
