Wash houses in Château-Landon
The wash-houses (fr. Lavoir for laundry) in Château-Landon , a French commune in the Seine-et-Marne in the region Ile-de-France , were mostly built in the 19th century. Today there are still 17 wash houses , which is unusual for France. The wash houses, most of which are on the Fusain River , have been renovated in recent years.
