Saint-Julien-près-Bort ( Sent Julian prep Baurt in Occitan ) is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Sarroux-Saint Julien with 405 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .
On January 1, 2017, the municipality of Saint-Julien-près-Bort merged with Sarroux to form the Commune nouvelle Sarroux-Saint Julien. The community was a member of the community association Plateau Bortois .
geography
Saint-Julien-près-Bort is located in the Massif Central on the right bank of the Dordogne near the Diège estuary and approx. Seven kilometers west of the Bort-les-Orgues dam and therefore also from the border with the Cantal department .
Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 75 kilometers southwest, Ussel about 20 kilometers northwest and Bort-les-Orgues about 10 kilometers slightly southeast.
