Aix ( Ais in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 392 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .
geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and therefore also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park on the right bank of the Dognon , a tributary of the Dordogne .
Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 90 kilometers southwest, Ussel about 11 kilometers southwest and Clermont-Ferrand about 70 kilometers northeast.
