Veyrières ( Veirièras in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 73 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .

geography

The community is located in the Massif Central on the left side of the Diège, not far from the Plateau de Millevaches and the Regional Nature Park Millevaches en Limousin . The Diège dam Barrage des Chaumettes is about eight kilometers to the southwest.

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 70 kilometers southwest, Ussel about 10 kilometers northwest and Bort-les-Orgues about 15 kilometers southeast.

Neighboring municipalities to Veyrières are Saint-Bonnet-près-Bort in the north, Saint-Victour in the south and Saint-Exupéry-les-Roches in the west.
