Saint-Setiers ( Sent Sestari in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 285 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves the Saint-Setiers or the Saint-Setières.

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and therefore also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park .

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 75 kilometers southwest, Égletons about 40 kilometers southwest and Ussel about 25 kilometers southeast.

Neighboring communities of Saint-Setiers are Féniers in the north, Sornac in the east, Millevaches in the south and Peyrelevade in the west.

The place is about 30 kilometers northwest of exit 23 of the A89 autoroute .

Description : The coat of arms is four-sided : heraldically on the top right, ermine with a red border , on the top left a silver cross in red on a black-grooved silver base, from which a wavy, blue ribbon runs downwards; below right on gold a green heather branch, on the left on green a grazing silver sheep .
