Liginiac ( Liginhac in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 606 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central south of the Plateau de Millevaches and the Regional Nature Park Millevaches en Limousin between the Triouzoune and the Diège on the right bank of the Dordogne . The Parisian meridian runs through the municipality.

Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 65 kilometers southwest, Ussel about 17 kilometers north and Bort-les-Orgues about 20 kilometers east.

Neighboring municipalities of Liginiac are Sainte-Marie-Lapanouze in the north, Champagnac in the east, Sérandon in the south, Neuvic in the west and Chirac-Bellevue in the north-west.
