Lafage-sur-Sombre ( La Faja in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 124 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Fageous.
geography
The community is located in the Massif Central and is surrounded by extensive forests. Tulle , the prefecture of the department is about 30 kilometers to the west and Égletons about 15 kilometers to the north and Ussel about 35 kilometers to the northeast.
Neighboring municipalities of Lafage-sur-Sombre are Le Jardin in the north, Saint-Hilaire-Foissac in the east, Saint-Merd-de-Lapleau in the south, Saint-Merd-de-Lapleau in the southwest, Marcillac-la-Croisille in the west and Champagnac -la-Noaille in the northwest.
