Melanesia Cup 1988
The Melanesia Cup in 1988 was the first playout of the tournament for the national soccer teams of Melanesia and took place in October 1988 with four teams in the Solomon Islands. Everyone against everyone was played in a simple league round. The first and second place players played for the tournament victory, the third and fourth place for 3rd place.
Fiji won the premiere of the Melanesia Cup.
