Davignac ( Davinhac in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 208 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves Davignacois (es).
geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and therefore also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park .
Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 40 kilometers southwest, Égletons about 10 kilometers southwest and Ussel about 20 kilometers northeast.
Neighboring municipalities of Davignac are Ambrugeat in the north, Meymac in the northeast, Maussac in the east, Soudeilles in the south, Péret-Bel-Air in the southwest and Bonnefond in the west.
The municipality is crossed by numerous streams and small rivers, including the Dadalouze , a tributary of the Corrèze , and the Soudeillette , a tributary of the Luzège .

Attractions
- The church Saint Saturmin , a religious building from the 15th century with a remarkable altarpiece from the 17th century. The building has been classified as a Monument historique since 1967 .
- The Notre-Dame chapel from the 13th century, with paintings and sculptures from the 17th to 19th centuries.
