Confolent-Port-Dieu ( Confolens in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 40 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine .
geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the right-hand side at the confluence of the Chavanon in the Dordogne and northwest of the Bort-les-Orgues reservoir and therefore not far from the border with the Puy-de-Dôme department .
Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 90 kilometers southwest, Ussel about 17 kilometers west and Bort-les-Orgues about 20 kilometers south.
Neighboring municipalities of Confolent-Port-Dieu are Savennes in the north, Singles in the northeast, Larodde in the east, Labessette in the southeast, Monestier-Port-Dieu in the south, Thalamy in the west and Saint-Étienne-aux-Clos in the northwest.
