Saint-Remy ( Sent Remic in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 227 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The inhabitants call themselves the Saint-Rémy.
geography
The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and therefore also in the Millevaches en Limousin Regional Nature Park .
Tulle , the prefecture of the department, is about 75 kilometers southwest, Égletons about 40 kilometers southwest and Ussel about 15 kilometers south.
Neighboring municipalities of Saint-Rémy are La Courtine in the north, Saint-Martial-le-Vieux and Couffy-sur-Sarsonne in the northeast, Courteix in the east, Saint-Pardoux-le-Neuf in the southeast, Lignareix and Saint-Pardoux-le-Vieux in the south, Saint-Germain-Lavolps in the south-west, Bellechassagne in the west and Sornac in the north-west.
The Liège , a tributary of the Diège , runs through the municipality.
