Company history
Joaquín Custals founded the company in Barcelona in 1919 after leaving Talleres Hereter and began producing automobiles. In the same year, production ended after only a few copies had been made. The word Nacional in the company indicates that it received government support.

The company made cyclecars that resembled the models Custals knew from working at Talleres Hereter. The vehicles were also used successfully in car races.
