Kover Capilla was a Spanish manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The Valencia-based company started producing automobiles in 1953. Production ended in the same year.

vehicles

The company offered two different microcars. Both were four-wheeled, but one model had a rear narrow gauge. A single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 198 cm³ provided the drive . There was also a motor tricycle that had a loading area at the front.

No connection to Kover

Some sources write that the Kover Capilla was a license production of the French Kover . The name originated from the combination of the original name Kover and Capilla, the Spanish word for hood , because the Spanish version, unlike the original, had a hood. However, the variety of types, the construction time, the motorization and the appearance do not match. A source clearly states that there was no connection.
