Baradat-Esteve was a Spanish manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The designers Claudio and Carlos Baradat Guillé founded the company Cortina, Baradat y Esteve in Barcelona in 1922 with the financial support of Don Federico Esteve Anglada and Don Cortina and began producing automobiles. In the same year production ended after twelve copies were made. The brand name was Baradat-Esteve .

The only model was exhibited at the Barcelona Motor Show in 1922. The vehicle was outwardly conventional, but equipped with unusual technology. A radial engine , which had previously been tested as an aircraft engine, provided the drive . The engine developed 110 hp from a displacement of 2000 cc .
