Ricart
Ricart (also under the name Ricart y Pérez ) was a Spanish manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company Sociedad Anonima de los Motores Ricart y Pérez was founded in 1922 in Barcelona by Wifredo Ricart and Francisco Pérez Olaguer to manufacture automobiles. In 1926 the production of the automobiles was stopped, while the company continued and the Rex engines continued to be produced until 1960. Wifredo Ricart first founded his own company Ricart before in 1928 with Felipe Batllo y Godó, who at Automóviles España , worked Ricart-España founded.

Mainly racing cars were produced. The first model had a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1000 cc . In 1926 a six-cylinder model with 1500 cm³ displacement was added. In addition, attempts were made in 1926 with the six-cylinder model 10 HP with a valve motor, but these did not lead to series production.
