Talleres Hereter was a Spanish manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company Talleres Hereter SA , headed by Don Laureano Hereter, produced spare parts and accessories for cars in Barcelona from 1905 . The company's own vehicle production began in 1915. In 1916, under the management of Jorge Loring, the name was changed to Fábrica Española de Automóviles y Aeroplanos Talleres Hereter SA. In 1922, production ended after around 100 to 120 vehicles were manufactured. The brand names were both Ideal and TH .

The first model 6/8 HP Modelo D was designed by the brothers Claudio and Carlos Baradat. The vehicle appeared in 1915, was equipped with a four-cylinder engine with 1200 cm³ displacement . In 1918 the larger four-cylinder model 15 HP with 2121 displacement was added, developed by the technician Sebastián Nadal. Both models were also used in sports car races.
