Company history

The Barcelona company started producing automobiles in 1917 under the direction of Felipe Batlló y Godó. The brand name was España . 1927 marked the production than it is to a merger with Ricart to Ricart-España came.

The Tipo I , which was produced in a few copies, received a four-cylinder engine from MAG . The Tipo II model with a four-cylinder engine from Altos with 1593 or 1847 cm³ displacement and 24 hp and a four-speed gearbox was made around 850 copies. In the Tipo III model , a four-cylinder engine with OHV valve control with 3690 cm³ displacement and 58 hp was used; One of the only three copies produced was acquired by the Spanish King Alfonso XIII.
