The Cornett (English for The Cornet ) is an approximately 850 m high mountain on Elephant Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It rises on the south side of Pardo Ridge between Muckle Bluff and The Stadium .
Participants in the UK Joint Services Expedition (1970–1971) gave it its descriptive name.
