The Communauté de communes Val et Plateaux Bortois is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department Corrèze (9 municipalities) in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine and in Cantal (2 municipalities) in the region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and last comprised eleven parishes. The administrative seat was in the place Bort-les-Orgues . The specialty was the cross-departmental and regional membership of the municipalities.
Historical development
With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged
- Communauté de communes du Pays d'Eygurande ,
- Communauté de communes des Sources de la Creuse ,
- Communauté de communes Ussel-Meymac-Haute Corrèze and
- Communauté de communes des Gorges de la Haute Dordogne
and so formed the successor organization Haute-Corrèze Communauté . On this occasion, the municipalities of Beaulieu and Lanobre changed to the Communauté de communes Sumène Artense .
