The Blourde (also in the lower reaches: Grande Blourde ) is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the municipality of Brillac , generally drains north to northwest and flows into the Vienne after 47 kilometers in the municipality of Persac , opposite Gouex , as a right tributary . Her sister river, the Petite Blourde , also flows into the Vienne just 100 meters further downstream . On its way, the Blourde crosses the Charente and Vienne departments .
