The Franche Doire is a river in France that runs in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region . It rises in the north-western municipality of Saint-Bonnet-de-Bellac , drains generally in a north-west direction and, after around 25 kilometers, flows into the Blourde as a right tributary at the municipal boundary of Adriers and Moussac , which is also called Grande Blourde here . On its way, the Franche Doire crosses the Haute-Vienne and Vienne departments .
