The Mislaid Rock (from English mislaid , lost, misplaced ; Spanish Roca Perdida , disappeared rock ) is a cliff in the South Atlantic . It is located southwest of the First Point of Annenkov Island off the south coast of South Georgia .
The name of the rock first appears on a British Admiralty map from 1951.
