The inhabitants are called adjotois .

Les Adjots is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montalembert in the north and north-west, Voulême in the north and north-east, Taizé-Aizie in the east and south-east, Ruffec in the south, Bernac in the south-west and Saint-Martin-du-Clocher in the west and south-west.
