Lussac is a French municipality with 290 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement Confolens and the canton Charente-Bonnieure (until 2015 Saint-Claud ). The inhabitants are called Lussacois .
geography
Lussac is about 32 kilometers northeast of Angoulême . Lussac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Claud in the north, Nieuil in the northeast, Suaux in the east, Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure in the south and Cellefrouin in the west and north-west.
