Ébréon is a French municipality with 143 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Nord ( Aigre until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Ébréonais .

geography

Ébréon is located about 28 kilometers north-northwest of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Souvigné in the north and northeast, Tusson in the east, Aigre (with Villejésus ) in the south and southeast and Saint-Fraigne in the west.
