The Naretschen Glacier ( Bulgarian ледник Наречен lednik Naretschen ) is a 9 km long and 11 km wide glacier in the north of the Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It flows from the western slopes of the Lassus Mountains in a westerly direction to Lasarew Bay , which it reaches south of the southwest ridge of Mount Wilbye and north of Faulkner Nunatak .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2009 after the spa town of Naretschen in southern Bulgaria .
