Saint-Fraigne is a French municipality with 442 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Nord ( Aigre until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Fraignois .

Saint-Fraigne located about 38 kilometers north-northwest of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring communities Longré in the north, the board in the Northeast, Souvigné in the east and northeast, Ébréon the east, Aigre (with Villejésus ) in the south and southeast, Oradour in the southwest, Lupsault in West, Les Gours to the west and northwest, and Couture-d'Argenson to the northwest.
