Ranville-Breuillaud is a French municipality with 176 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016 Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Confolens and the canton of Charente-Nord ( Aigre until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Ranvillois .

Ranville-Breuillaud is about 40 kilometers northwest of Angoulême and is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Chives in the north, Barbezières in the east, Verdille in the south and south-east, Bresdon in the south-west, Beauvais-sur-Matha in the west and south-west, Bazauges in the west and north-west as well Fontaine-Chalendray to the northwest.
