Bazauges is located about 75 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle in the Saintonge . Bazauges is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Fontaine-Chalendray in the north, Ranville-Breuillaud in the east and southeast, Beauvais-sur-Matha in the south and Cressé in the west.
