Saint-Pierre-de-l'Isle is a French municipality with 264 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and is part of the canton Matha (until 2015: canton Loulay ). The inhabitants are called Islitiens .

Saint-Pierre-de-l'Isle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martial in the north and north-west, Blanzay-sur-Boutonne in the north and north-east, Saint-Georges-de-Longuepierre in the north-east, and Nuaillé-sur-Boutonne in the east South-east, Saint-Pardoult in the south, Antezant-la-Chapelle in the south and south-west and La Jarrie-Audouin in the west.
