Juicq is a French municipality with 294 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement Saint-Jean-d'Angély and the canton of Chaniers (until 2015: canton of Saint-Hilaire-de-Villefranche ). The inhabitants are called juicquais .

geography

Juicq is about 60 kilometers southeast of La Rochelle . Juicq is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Hilaire-de-Villefranche in the east and northeast, Le Douhet in the south and east, Taillebourg in the west and southwest and Annepont in the west.
