The Canton Chaniers is a French canton in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It includes 26 parishes from the arrondissements of Saint-Jean-d'Angély and Saintes . It was newly created in 2015 when the French cantons were reorganized nationwide.
