The District of Rochefort is a French canton in the Arrondissement Rochefort , in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Its shape corresponds to that of the Rochefort municipality . When the French cantons were reorganized nationwide in 2015, it was re-created after Rochefort had previously been divided into the three cantons of Rochefort-Center , Rochefort-Nord and Rochefort-Sud .
