The Canton of Aytré is a French canton in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It comprises four municipalities in the La Rochelle arrondissement and has its bureau centralisateur in Aytré . As part of the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was changed significantly in spring 2015.

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the three municipalities of Angoulins , Aytré and Châtelaillon-Plage belonged to the canton of Aytré . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​26.67 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 1746.
