The canton of Rochefort-Nord was a French canton in the Charente-Maritime department and in what was then the Poitou-Charentes region until 2015 . It comprised seven municipalities (including the Île-d'Aix ) and the northern parts of its capital (chef-lieu) Rochefort in the Rochefort arrondissement . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Sylvie Marcilly was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements for the years 2011–2015.
