The canton of Courçon was a French canton in the Charente-Maritime department and in the then Poitou-Charentes region until 2015 . It comprised 14 parishes in the Arrondissement of La Rochelle ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Courçon . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015.
