Angliers is a French commune with 1,060 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017), in the department of Charente-Maritime and in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ) is located. It belongs to the arrondissement of La Rochelle and the canton of Marans (until 2015: canton of Courçon ). The inhabitants are called Anglésiens .

Angliers is about 14 kilometers east-northeast of La Rochelle . Angliers is surrounded by the neighboring communities Longèves in the north and north-west, Nuaillé-d'Aunis in the north-east, Saint-Sauveur-d'Aunis in the east, Anais in the south-east and Vérines in the south and west.
The Route nationale 11 runs through the north of the municipality .
