geography

Saint-Xandre is located about seven kilometers northeast of La Rochelle in the Aunis plain. Saint-Xandre is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villedoux in the north, Saint-Ouen-d'Aunis in the east, Sainte-Soulle in the southeast, Dompierre-sur-Mer in the south, Puilboreau in the southwest, Nieul-sur-Mer in the west and Marsilly in the Northwest.
