The inhabitants are called Christophois or Saint-Christophois .

Saint-Christophe is located about 15 kilometers east-southeast of La Rochelle in the historic Aunis landscape . Saint-Christophe is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Médard-d'Aunis in the north, Anais in the northeast, Virson in the east, Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis in the south, La Jarrie in the west and Clavette in the northwest.
