It belongs to the canton of Surgères (until 2015 canton of Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis ) in the Arrondissement of Rochefort . It borders in the northwest with Saint-Christophe and Anais , in the north with Bouhet , in the east with Puyravault , in the southeast with Chambon , in the south with Forges and in the west with Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis .
