Ardillières is a French municipality with 849 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the arrondissement of Rochefort , to the canton of Surgères (until 2015: canton Aigrefeuille-d'Aunis ) and is a member of the community association Aunis Sud . The inhabitants are called Ardilliérois .
geography
Ardillières is located about 20 kilometers southeast of La Rochelle in the historic Aunis landscape . Ardillières is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Landrais in the north and east, Muron in the south and east and Ciré-d'Aunis in the west.
