Saint-Froult is a French municipality with 335 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . Saint-Froult belongs to the Arrondissement of Rochefort and the Canton of Marennes (until 2015: Canton of Saint-Agnant ).

Saint-Froult is located about eight kilometers west-southwest of Rochefort city center on the Atlantic coast . Saint-Froult is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Port-des-Barques in the north and north-west, Saint-Nazaire-sur-Charente in the east and north-east, and Moëze in the south and east.
