Saint-Pierre-la-Noue is a French commune with 1,593 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Rochefort and the cantons of Surgères .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from March 1, 2018 by merging the previous municipalities of Saint-Germain-de-Marencennes and Péré , which have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Saint-Germain-de-Marencennes.

Saint-Pierre-la-Noue is located about 28 kilometers northeast of Rochefort on the Devise and Gères rivers . Saint-Pierre-la-Noue is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Charente in the north and northwest, Surgères in the north and northeast, La Devise in the east, Genouillé in the southeast, Muron in the south and southwest and Landrais in the west and southwest.
