The Communauté de communes Aunis Sud is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on January 1, 2014 and comprises 24 parishes. The administrative headquarters are located in Surgères .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2018, the previous municipalities of Vandré , Chervettes and Saint-Laurent-de-la-Barrière became the Commune nouvelle La Devise . On March 1, 2018, the municipalities of Péré and Saint-Germain-de-Marencennes were also merged to form the Commune nouvelle Saint-Pierre-la-Noue . Since then, the number of member communities has been 24.
