Breuil-la-Réorte is a French municipality with 457 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Charente-Maritime in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine (before 2016: Poitou-Charentes ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Rochefort and is part of the canton of Surgères . The inhabitants are called Réortais .
geography
Breuil-la-Réorte is located about 37 kilometers east of La Rochelle in the historic Aunis region . Breuil-la-Réorte is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Mard in the north, Bernay-Saint-Martin in the east, Puyrolland in the south-east, La Devise in the south and west and Surgères in the north-west.
